ginevra d’agostino
founding partner, president
Ginevra D’Agostino is a principal of Alliata/Alcega, and president of Liminal. During her time at MIT, she founded Out of Frame, a platform envisioned to retain dialogue across the university’s diverse community as it was dispersed globally by COVID-19. She was also the recipient of multiple awards and fellowships.
As president of Liminal, Ginevra’s main responsibilities lie in the everyday management and strategic vision of the organization. She also fosters long-term partnerships with bottom-up and top-down entities interested in supporting Liminal’s work with rural communities. Ginevra’s thesis entitled Rebuilding the Edge became Liminal Lab’s pilot project, which contributed to the associations' construction of partnerships with national entities, such as the Fondazione FS Italiane, international programs such as MIT Department of Architecture and MIT-Italy program, and the local municipalities of the Abruzzo region.
Ginevra received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a Master in Architecture from MIT. She has taught at MIT as part of its Summer Research Pedagogical Experiments program.
