Summary

The Valbrevenna Lab asked how Liminal could be useful to a Ligurian valley before claiming a project. Students and researchers spent three weeks in Carsi: a first week meeting residents, farms, the Antola park and the regional authorities; a second mapping streets, buildings and their state of abandonment in nine villages; a third turning what they had heard and measured into proposals, presented to the community and the mayor on 15 September 2023.

The residue is a report (Italian) and a set of institutional relationships, not a finished plan for the valley.
