liminal act
Liminal Act implements strategies and catalytic services that can produce measurable social, economic or environmental impact for rural Italian communities
-
Services based on the multi-disciplinary expertise of the Liminal membership that can generate quantifiable impact for communities at a local or territorial scale. Liminal Act is geared towards integrated territorial strategies implemented with a range of stakeholders across areas like regional planning, tourism, heritage stewardship and agriculture. However, it also includes more pointed services like communication strategies, wayfinding tools, augmented reality platforms, or tactical urban interventions.
-
Multi-year projects with vetted partners to ideate, fund and execute specific services for communities. Because Liminal’s involvement goes from pre-funding stages to post-delivery impact assessments, we work with few projects at a time to maximize the impact of a specific intervention on a territory.
-
In a moment of compounding crises, the Liminal team believes that now more than ever is the time to apply creativity and scientific knowledge to solve specific, real world problems. Liminal Act is how we play a role in actually ensuring the implementation of projects that can catalyze a prosperous and resilient future for a territory.

Interested in supporting or proposing a Liminal Act project?
Every Liminal Act project is the fruit of a collaboration with on-the-ground beneficiaries and financing entities concerned with the long-term impact of their investment on a territory. To satisfy these demands, each project–small or large–takes a well-understood set of opportunities and transforms them into concrete infrastructure that contributes to the regeneration of a territory.
