Claudia Ignaccolo

Claudia Ignaccolo is a graduate student in Cultural Heritage and Computer Science at the University of Pisa. She graduated with honors from the University of Catania where, in her Bachelor’s degree thesis, Claudia documented, analyzed and classified the Baroque ornaments of the eighteenth-century balconies of Catania.
Fascinated by the possibility of combining her passion for art history with the computational potential of information technology in museum professions, Claudia is now enrolled in a Master's program titled “Humanities and Computer Science” at the University of Pisa. Her multifaceted skills, which include rigorous archival research, virtual and augmented reality, graphic design and multimedia production contribute to a fresher and more engaging understanding of small towns’ cultural heritage.
